JUNE 2014 WHITEFISH POINT, MI. SHIPWRECK MUSEUM

Drove to Whitefish Point.  Viewed a film about the Edmund Fitzgerald sinking in Lake Superior in 1975 with all 29 crew members going down with her.  Winds had reached 100 mph that fateful Nov. nite with 35 ft. waves and it seems the ship broke in half.    The museum has the origional bell retrieved from the sunken ship and as a memorial to all lost, a new bell  was made with all the crews names and lowered to wreckage to replace  the origional after a ceremony.

Execellent museum with original light house glass displayed.

Of course, the bell had been shined since resurrection.
