Drove a dirt road up to the Alpine Center  Fuller Rd. I think.

AN AMELIA AND TRAVIS WEEKEND 2015

Michelle met us in Castle Rock to drop Mia with us.  She is so cute and smart!!!  Love that kid!   Just don't get enough of her.  We made flip flops, a pillow, she played on playground with other kids, she loved walking Sophie( her little BUN BUN),played in the floor stacking dominoes and knocking down, talked about Grampy that she brought up, tried to play piano I had sent her for birthday, she wasn't interested!!!   Went swimming and the pool thermometer was broken/...BRRRRR, ate pancakes, watched Frozen and Bambi.  I had a great time!!
We took her back to Thornton to Michelle in the RV and I think she loved it!!  Trav came and ate with us and played with Mia on playground.

COLORADO SPRINGS WITH TRAVIS JULY 2015

           



Headed back north after Paul's Graduation that I had to leave due to nausea.  Val videoed for us. Pics to follow in another blog.

Stayed  in Amarillo and had a windy storm and rain.  Next night we stayed in a  New Mexico Campground where that same night had billard ball size hail and totaled all the cars in the park as well as denting RV;s.

A whole day with Travis opening his late Christmas gifts from me and then the 3 of us drove up PIKES PEAK!!!!!  Mike had been up as a child and Trav and I had taken the Cog Rail several years ago when he first was stationed in CO.

Had to try the worlds best donuts at the top of the Peak.

Wanted a shirt that said...I PEED ON PIKES PEAK.... no such animal!!!!

The limit is under 300.....we were 200+.

ST. LOUIS, MISSOURRI 2015

Made our way to Casino Queens RV Park for couple days in St. Louis.  Much to see but we didn't see it all!!

This old courthouse is now a museum. Really pretty.

Toured the Busch Brewery

GREEN RIVER, WISCONSIN HOUSE ON THE ROCK

Pulled out Sunday Aug, 1 for CAMPFIRE RV PARK.  Stopped at FARMERS MARKET  on the way.  Pics and petted the goats and let Mikey play.   Fresh corn, maters(Canadian)  theirs hadn't made yet!!!!  only bought one!!!!

 Rocks on the left is the actual ROCKS house is built on.  Alex Nolan idea and opened in 1990 after he had passed in November 1989.

This is the INFINITY ROOM which juts out over the rock about 140 ft. Mike is stepping on a glassed area to look down to the woods below,

 Carved Ivory...unbelieveable.   So many collections I was dizzy.  Dolls, elaborate doll houses, cars, turcks, hobby horses, angels, asian geishas, weapons, circus displays, clowns, several carousels.
The main Carousel is the largest in the world and cost a mere 4,800,000.00.
