We have been without wifi and cell service since leaving Skagway on Saturday so here we sit in front ot the Stewart Museum using their wifi. We stopped 3 times along the Cassier Highway before arriving in Hyder yesterday. Stayed at the Continental Divide RV park, Bell 2 Resort (which had a nice hot tub) and stayed at a pullout next to a beautiful river for one night. We are now staying at Camp Run-A-Muck in Hyder, AK. No cell phone service and very spotty (usually NOT) wifi, but we do get a couple USA channels, one of which is NBC so we get to watch a little olympics.
Smoke in the air....forest fire.
Stayed ROADSIDE!!!!!! RUSHING WATER.
HAD OUR OWN LITTLE PRIVATE CORNER OF THE PARK NEXT TO WATER, MARSHY AREA.
DROVE UP THE MOUNTAIN TO THE GLACIER WHICH USED TO TAKE UP THE WHOLE VALLEY, .....THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO.

EVERYONE EATS AT THE BUS!!!!! HER HUSBAND FISHES AND SHE COOKS IT!!!
Left Hyder yesterday and saw a totem pole village on the way to Prince Rupert. We stayed in the Cassiar RV Park at the end of the Cassiar hiway for the night. Since they had a do-it-yourself RV wash we washed the coach for the first time since we stayed in Valdez (10 weeks ago). Then finished off the trip to Prince Rupert and checked into the Prince Rupert RV Park with full hookups. About 80 miles up the road from here in Terrace, we found a Walmart supercenter!!!!! Went inside and we felt like we were home once again.......... did our grocery shopping and just enjoyed the visit. The prices were great for a Canadian store and then of coarse we got our 25% USA discount on top of that so we saved a bunch of $$$$.
