CARCROSS ......SKAGWAY Aug 6, 2016 Flight to JUNEAU

Took a tour of the town CARCROSS on the way.

Checked in to the Garden City RV Park in SKAGWAY. This is one of our favorite places!!!.  So much to see and do.Toured around the town and of course had to go to the Red Onion Saloon, have a couple brews and take the brothel tour.

First, a taste of Carcross .

It;s really the remains of an ancient lake, thousands of years ago.  Sand and salt that's been trapped under glaciers.

Went back about 7"30 pm to try to see bear eating salmon.....dying everywhere.

Glacier Gardens started as a landscaping business by a family.  Now they grow these awesome gardens in upside down trees and pots.  They take up over 8,000 plants each season and keep warm in a heated concrete floor building and replant each year.

 Took a ride thru the forest which is partially Tongass Natl. Forest.
