November 30, 2013 Last Day in the Valley!!!

Hello All!!!!!  Had great Thanksgiving here with new friends!!!!  Water volleyball, table tennis, shuffleboard, card games, dancing, you name it!!!!

AND we made it back without any gunfire!!!!  Progresso is about the only place you can cross over anymore without the Cartel.

King Tut Exhibit with replicas of origional materials covered in real gold.,  Things under glass are originals from 3000 yrs ago. Interesting!!

November 15-30 2013 San Benito, Tx.

Hi Folks!!

Returned home from OUR JOURNEY and fridge went out.  After 2 months in shop waiting on parts......we are on the road again. Mike was getting cabin fever!!!!He soo loves to ......GO!!

Here we are in Fun n Sun RV park in San Benito, Tx.  Windy all the time, beautiful palm trees, lots of shopping centers, nice friendly people.  If you get bored here..........it's your own fault.  You can't possibly do all that's offered here.

We've been in large heated pool, hot tub, dance, ice cream social, Aquacise class, church in the park...  ..The fun has just begun!!  Most come here 3 to 6 months out of the year and some LIVE here full time.

It's like living the movie    COCCOON!!!!!!   ( I;m just not that old yet!)  Alma

SEPTEMBER 20, 2013 JOURNEY HOME

Well, time to JOURNEY  home.   Living in the RV for 3.5 months was not bad.  Of course, I was with my new husband!!!! We JOURNEYED through  16 states and I got to see incredible landscapes and wildlife. What wonderful views God made!!!  And....we got to see them!!!  Never again want to endure the heat in SE Texas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tomorrow we will head home to Point Blank then I go pick up my baby girls............never to leave that long again......really missed them. Hope they don't disown me!!!!!!!
Tonight will be our last night with the South Texas Renegades Rally.  We've had fun last 3 days with them here in Weatherford, Tx.
Soooooo, til our JOURNEY begins again next June, we will be going to campouts with our clubs in Texas.

I agree with my honey, 110%. We had a great JOURNEY in our first long term trip together. We are still married, still best friends, still love each other and still enjoy each others company so I think this RVing thing is going to work out. Cant wait for our next big trip together.

SEPTEMBER 9-15, 2013 SIX-STATE RALLY SEDALIA, MISSOURI

Finally made it to FMCA SIX-STATE RALLY in Sedalia, Missouri.....about 350 coaches from the surrounding 6 states.  Theme was  "REMEMBERING"
Seminars, music, magician, comedian and good food.

Out to eat...........of course......@ Coltens Steak House.
