INDIANA JUNE 9-11, 2014

Had to leave while in Iowa.  Flew out of Des Moines to Atlanta to Houston Hobby to be with my "sisters" for the death of their mother.  I had gone to BC to be with them before we left on our Journey.  She had surgery and was improving but everything went sour and she passed 6 days ago.  I've known the
Blackwell family for about 58 years.  That's a long time.  Our parents used to play dominoes on weekends and drink coffee.  Pam and I became friends when they moved 1 block over from us from Port Arthur. She and I were the oldest in the family and met in 5th grade.  She says I'm her oldest friend!!!!!NOT.  Just known me the longest.  So, their Mom was like another Mom to me.  I will miss her.  Very talented and sweet.  Clyde and Mary Lee raised some fine girls.


Returned to Mike earlier this week in Indianapolis and we visited with his brother-in-law and wife, Rich and Pat Knauer. Met their daughter Wendy and her children.  Shopping, visiting and out to eat.  Great time.

Left Carmel, Indiana this a.m. and camping in Peru, Illinois tonight.  Complete with campfire and smores!!
