SEWARD MORE JULY 4TH

EVERYONE comes to Seward for the MT. MARATHON RACE!!!!!!!!  A city of about 7000 swells to 35, 000 during this weekend every year.  We dry camped in the RV parking lot of the Sealife Center at the end of town on the water.  Great view

Men raced first.  While they go up running and climbing the mountain, kids age 2-6 have a small race.  Later the youth race like half way up and back and lastly, the women race same route as the men.

Of course, Sunday morning we found out the Meth. church always has a pie sale....we were there!!!!

 Parade begins

During the parade this 82 yr old runner comes in and I hi fived him!!!  about 2 hrs. later from start.
The winner came in about 45 mins. It's about 3 miles round trip.

 This man had this REINDOG who was born on his farm.  Walking him on a leash.  Fun day!!
