Took a drive today from Banff National Park to Lake Louise and Yoho National Park. We used a phone app that gave a guided tour of the route with explanations of everything along the way. Visited Lake Louise, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, spiral train tunnels, Emerald Lake, natural bridge on the Kicking Horse river. The roads to Moraine Lake and Takakkaw Falls were closed to vehicles due to avalanches.
Saw a brown bear eating on the RR track on our way. They eat grain that drops from cars. They now have Vaccuum cars to pick up due to losing bears.
Lake Louise is more beautiful than this picture..,...it just doesn't capture the beauty. We sat outside here for a bit. Heard a splash........a guy stripped down to shorts and jumped in!!!!!! Called Polar Bear!!!
