VERMONT JIUNE 19, 2018 BRAINTREE, VT.

Yesterday we drove to Randolph, VT and checked into Abel Mountain Campground for a week. Since there are over 100 covered bridges in the state, we decided to go on a quest today to visit several in the area. We saw a lot of beautiful countryside on our drive.

Been too coool here for pooling!! 40s,50s nights......60s 70s days.

Most of the bridges were built in 1800s and some as early as 1781!!!!!
Built for shelter to horse and carriages from the weather, to cover the floor of bridge and protect.

usually take the back roads on our sploring expeditions and this is it!!  Lots of forests and farms.
