BIG TREES HERE WE COME!! SEQUOIA NATL. PARK MAY 24, 2019

 

Campground in Three Rivers for 3 days just outside Sequoia National Park.  Started our cool evening with a fire and foil paks!!! MMMMM ,  our favorite!! 
Next day we had booked  tour bus to take us up the mountain in Sequoia to see the sights!!!!  And the sights we saw........SNOW!!!!!!  YES,  it had snowed previously and had much on the ground!!   Very cool temp!!

the first attraction added to Sequoia.  years ago you could drive thru, can even see scrape marks under the top rock.

 The higher up the mountain, the colder it got!!!

 Before we had gotten too far, we had all decided we'd all 8 of us to do a trail!!
Little did we know we would be trekking  in snow and ice!!!!!!

 It was beautiful!!!
