KISSIMMEE FLORIDA MARCH 14, 2017 Cape Canaveril





Staying at Tropical Palms RV Resort in Kissimmee. Friday we took a drive over to Kennedy Space Center and spent the day. Had a really great time seeing all the rockets and exhibits

This monster takes the shuttle 3 miles to launch area and takes about 8+ hrs to get to launch pad.

The picture shows the Boeing facility for the CST-100. Boeing is designing and building the CST-100, a Commercial Crew Vehicle to transport astronauts to and from the International Space Station, in low earth orbit. Lockheed Martin is designing and building the Orion, for deep space missions. The Lockheed Martin division doing this is based near Denver.
