BIG BEND/DAVIS MTS. MARCH 20, 2015 Lajitas Maverick RV park

Left yesterday morning, 3-20-2015, heading to Del Rio.  Saw some Bluebonnets in small patches along the way.  Went thru ROUND TOP!  They're all gearing up for the fleas and antiques.  " Oh, Mikey.  We HAVE to stop at JUNK GYPSYS!!"  We've been by there but never stopped.  The highlight of my day!!  Expensive and the sisters weren't there but bought a tee shirt!

Arrived in Luling  for the night.  Rained alllll night long.  Good sleeping.
Made it to Lajitas, Tx., Maverick RV Park and Resort to meet up with some of the Alamo Winnies and 2 other Bluebonnets.

Nice drive.  Different from what we're used to seeing in the summer up north.  Bluebonnets are beautiful!

Met up with Tom and Pud Francis as they finished lunch in Moho on roadside.

 Above is the Lajitas Mesa(table) from the front of the coach.  Beautiful.





Meet and greet Happy Hour on the pool patio with all.

 Entertainment from the Whitfords  who come here yearly as snowbird from Michigan.  Nice, easy country songs as well as, western.

This fine gentleman does wood carvings for hobby and not for sale.   Also a snowbird.
