As the ants are hilling up, mosquitoes are buzzing, temperatures rising and love bugs mating........It's time to hit the road!!!!!!  Go north, Mike and Alma.  Go north!!!!

And so, the Journey begins....or continues.

Left at 10a.m. today and headed to Paris, Texas to stay overnite.  Mike had uncovered this app that finds stupid, ridiculous places that are a MUST SEE.  So when in Paris, Texas we had to see the Eiffel Tower!!!

 Yes, a metal replica of the Eiffel Tower with....yes, a big red cowboy hat!!!  Built by local Texas iron workers it stood 65 ft tall.  Tennessee had a tower built at Christian Brothers University in Memphis at 60 feet tall.  When Tennessee moved its tower to Paris, Tenn. another ten feet was added to top Texas' tower!!

Here we are!!!!  Paris, Texas!!

We did go thru Canton and it is the weekend but didn't stop.  Really don't have much room for things at home or in the coach.  I'll let it slide this time.

Staying the night in PAT MAYSE LAKE Corps of Eng. Park in Powderly, Tx.  Nice, quiet and Mikes next to favorite word......CHEAP!!  It is nice. We are up on a hill looking on the lake.
